This indenture made this the fourteenth day of March eighteen hundred and 
sixty between Allen Spears of Thomas County on the one part and William A. 
Tate of Decatur County on the second part and William A. Tait of Decatur 
County on the other part witness that the said Allen Spears for and in 
consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars to him in hand paid the 
receipt whereof in hereby acknowledged does by their presence give grant 
bargains sell and convey unto the said William A. Tate his heirs and assigns a 
certain lot of land lying and being in the nineteenth district of Decatur 
county and known as number 78 together with all the (?) thereto in any 
appertaining to have and to hold the above granted premises to the said 
William A. Tate his heirs and assigns in for simple furthermore I do warrant 
the title to the above (?) lot of land unto the said William A. Tait and his 
heirs against the (?) of all persons whatsoever.

In testimony where of the said Allen Spears has hereto set his hand and seal 
this the day and year above written.
