Tait Decatur County Georgia Sept 01 2004 Additional Comments: Brantly and George Tait wer brothers who purchased land together in Decatur County Georgia. They both left for the Civil War and both lost their lives. I have not found any records as to what happened to the land, Brantly Tait was married to Martha Ann Browning, George was a single man before the war. They were both the son's of William A. and Catherine Tait. Charles Tait listed above was also a son of William A. and Catherine Tait. It is very nice to find a record with all three brothers listed.
