This indenture made the first of July in the Year of our Lord eighteen hundred & thirty one between Isaac Lester of the said State & County of the one part & Chesley A. Lester of the Same place of the other part witnesseth that the said Isaac Lester for & in consideration of the naturale love & affection which he has for the said Chesley doth Give & grant & by these presents doth freely give & grant unto the Said Chesley A. Lester his heirs & assigns all that tract or lot of land Known & distinguished by number three hundred forty two (No. 342) lying & Being in the seventeenth District of formerly Early but now Decatur County also one negro woman named Nancy & her child named Lattice one girl named Mary & also one boy named Charles also one other negro woman named Rachael also forty head of hogs & eight head of cattle two head of Horses one gray horse & one gray mare comprising the two head & two feather Beds & furniture & one bedstead & one clock also two pots & one oven also the fourth of the crop now growing on the South side of lot of land No. 342 and likewise the whole of the crop which is now growing on the north Side of said land & adjoining John Lasseters plantation and also one large chest & I, the said Isaac Lester will warrant & forever defend the above bargained premises to the said Chesley A Lester his assigns for and during his natural life & to the heirs of his natural body forever in fee simple together wth all & singular the rights revenues and appertencencies [?] with the rents Issues...[illegible] thereof in Testimony whereof the said Isaac Lester hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above written.
