birth record of Uncle Jesses
sisters & all - Ruby
                                     Dec. 22, 1951

Dear Aunt Dora & Uncle Jessie.
                    How are both of you?  O.K. I hope.  Have written you lots 
of time but cant get any reply.  But thank the Lord we received the most 
beautiful xmas card.   Postmen left it in Henery Smiths box.  See we don't live 
in one of the company houses.  Well, you asked for Uncle Jesses age.  We don't 
have the Bible.  But he sent mothe (Roddie's mother) a copy of all the 
children's ages.  So I am copying it as he sent it.  On back of this as I don't 
have any more paper.  Mother Cloud age is 80 this year & Uncle Jesse's age 78.  
Mother said the record he sent was correct.  While she was living & Uncle Jesse 
was 2 years younger than she was.  Aunt Susie is dead also Nalie Faircloth.  
Aunt Susie's daughter died this summer.  Blood clot on the brain.  Has been 
burried 2 weeks when we foung out.  Well I had not thought about untill tonight 
but our oldest boy living has Uncle Jesse birthday Sep 2.  He was 11 this past 
Sept 2, 1951.  We lost a baby boy Aug 17 1945 last.  Another one (babyboy) this 
past Sep 22. 1951.  Roddie said please wirte us a letter and let us hear from 
you all often.  Don't know why we could not get an ans to our letters.   
                   Well we are wishing you a merry Xmas and a happy New Year.  
May God's ritches blessing rest on you all through the comeing years.  We are 
all very well at present.  Ans soon and a long letter ones who love you all..
