Bainbridge Post-Search Light

   Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Belcher who live about a mile and a half from Bainbridge 

celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary last Wednesday at their home with a 

family re-union.

     The prominent Decatur County couple, who have been making their home here 

all their lives, and who are well known and loved in Bainbridge and Decatur 

County had most of their relatives present to help them celebrate this event.

     Among those were: Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Daughtry, of Bainbridge; Mr. and Mrs. 

Riley Daughtry, of Climax, Mr. and Mrs. N. H. Nix of Bainbridge; Mr. and Mrs. 

D. H. Hunt of Bainbridge, and Mrs. Ruby Dollar also of this city, all of the 

ladies being sisters of Mrs. Belcher.  Mr. and Mrs. Leo Belcher, of Athens, 

Mrs. J. N. Solana of Savannah, Mr. and Mrs. Norwood Belcher, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer 

Belcher, and Bernard Belcher, all of this city.  Miss Elise Belcher, and Mr. 

Russell Belcher, the other son and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Belcher were unable 

to attend the celebration of their parents golden wedding anniversary.

     This lovely old couple have been receiving the congratulations of their 

numerous friends in this community.
