Bridges, 84, of Brinson, Ga., died Wednesday, November 2, 1994, at her residence following a brief illness. Mrs. Bridges was born December 7, 1909, in Calhoun County, Ga. A resident of Brinson for the past 44 years, she was a housewife, taught in several elementary schools in the public schools of Decatur County for several years, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Bainbridge. Funeral services were Friday, November 4, 1994, 2 P. M. at First Baptist Church of Bainbridge with Dr. Leroy Spinks officiating. Interment followed at the Brinson Cemetery in Decatur County, Ga. Honorary pallbearers were the members of the Baraca Sunday school class of First Baptist Church of Bainbridge. Cox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Bridges is survived by her husband, Dr. Zack H. Bridges of Brinson, Ga.; two sons, Dr. William Z. Bridges of Thomasville, Ga. and Tommy Bridges of Macon, Ga.; five grandchildren, Tracy Jones of Thomasville, Ga., Dr. Zack Bridges of Atlanta, Ga., Libby Bridges of Thomasville, Ga., James D. Bridges of Atlanta, Ga., and Tommy Bridges, Jr. of Bainbridge, Ga., two great-grandchildren, Erickson Bridges of Bainbridge, Ga., and Mary Peyton Jones of Thomasville, Ga.
