D. Perkins In Attapulgus, Dead Mrs. Alice Chestnut, sister of D. D. Perkins, sheriff of Grady county, died in Attapulgus at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon, March 3rd, following a brief illness with flu-pneumonia. Mrs. Chestnut was in her 28th year. She is survived by one daughter, Helen, aged seven; a mother, Mrs. Hattie Perkins; one sister, Mrs. S. W. Martin of Bainbridge; three brothers, D. D. Perkins, of Cairo; W. T. Perkins of Clarkesville, Arkansas; and P. P. Perkins of Attapulgus. The funeral will be held in Attapulgus this afternoon, Friday at 2 o'clock.
