Sister of D. D. Perkins In Attapulgus, Dead

Mrs. Alice Chestnut, sister of D. D. Perkins, sheriff of Grady county, died in 
Attapulgus at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon, March 3rd, following a brief 
illness with flu-pneumonia.

Mrs. Chestnut was in her 28th year.  She is survived by one daughter, Helen, 
aged seven; a mother, Mrs. Hattie Perkins; one sister, Mrs. S. W. Martin of 
Bainbridge; three brothers, D. D. Perkins, of Cairo; W. T. Perkins of 
Clarkesville, Arkansas; and P. P. Perkins of Attapulgus.

The funeral will be held in Attapulgus this afternoon, Friday at 2 o'clock.
