Causey Dies Following Week's Illness Mrs. Havana Loyless Causey, of Route 5, Blakely, widow of Philip Wright Causey, died in Phoebe Putney Hospital, Albany, Sunday night about 8:30 o'clock. She succumbed to a week's illness. Mrs. Causey, a native of Coffee County, Ala. had been a resident of Early county for the past 5 years and had many friends who learned with regret of her passing. A daughter of Melvin Loyless and Fannie Meredith Loyless, she was born September 9, 1897, thus was 64 years old. She was a member of Zion Free Will Baptist Church, where her funeral was held at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning, with the Rev. T. B. Mellette and the Rev. W. E. McCord officiating. Interment was in Sowhatchee cemetery. Manry-Minter Funeral Home in charge, and the following serving as pallbearers: Jim Hill, Roy Smith, Hugh L. Martin, Gordon Hall, Ray Ham and Waymon Thomas. Survivors include two sons, Stanley and Philip Causey, both of Blakely; three daughters, Mrs. Troy Johnson of Cedartown, Ga., Mrs. G. W. Glass of Baconton, Ga., and Mrs. Hilda Whitehead of Columbia, Ala.; 9 grandchildren and 3 great - grandchildren; a brother, Charlie Loyless of Jacksonville, Fla.; and three sisters, Mrs. Oliver Goff of Moultrie, Ga., Mrs. Shelby McKnight and Mrs. Willie Corley, both of Blakely.
