This file was contributed by: Brenda King McNair Bmcnair614@aol.com ==================================================================== Mrs. John Chason Funeral services for Mrs. John Chason, 80, were held at the Climax Baptist Church Monday, November 7 at 2:30 with Reverend Cham McMillen and Reverend Hugh White officiating. Interment was in Pisgah Cemetery with Dekle Funeral Home of Thomasville in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Chason, a former resident of Climax, had resided in Thomasville for the last three years. She died on November 5 at Whispering Pines Nursing home in Thomasville. The deceased was the daughter of Mary Jane Heath and M. C. Knight. Her husband, John Chason, was also a native of Climax having died in 1937. Mrs. Chason was a member of the Climax Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons: Clifford Chason of Thomasville and T. J. Chason of Tallahassee, Florida; three daughters, Mrs. R. Edmund Williams of Climax, Mrs. Clyde T. Blufford of Macon and Mrs. M. O. Dasher of Macon; one grandson and a number of nieces and nephews.
