He died 15 August 1963 buried at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Decatur County, Georgia. Reverend J. H. Cloud Funeral services for Reverend Jacob Henry Cloud, 77, of Route 3, Bainbridge were conducted August 18 at the Church of God with Reverend M. B. Norris and Reverend P. Y. Smith officiating. Interment was in Bethany Cemetery in Decatur County with Ivey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Reverend Cloud died suddenly on August 15. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church, a retired minister and a farmer. He was a native of Alabama. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Bertha King Cloud; one daughter Mrs. W. C. Austin of Route 3, Bainbridge; three sisters, Mrs. Gussie King and Mrs. Ethel Cox of Route 3, Bainbridge, and Mrs. D. M. Griffin of Bartow, Florida and six grandchildren. Active pallbearers were K. W. Croley, Charles Albritton, Buford Allen, Charlie Rathel, James Rathel, and J. A. Tate. Honorary pallbearers were: Hubert Dollar, W. W. Marchant, Ira Ingram, Ben Woodbury, Clyde Harrell, Jr., and J. T. Jackson.
