Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Cloud, 83, of Route 3, Bainbridge, were conducted Friday, November 7 at 3:30 p. m. from Bethany Baptist Church with Reverend Henry Judah, Reverend Dewey Myers and Reverend Grady Glaze officiating. Interment was in Bethany Cemetery with Ivey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Cloud died on November 5 at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge after a lengthy illness. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church and her husband was the late Reverend J. H. Cloud. Mrs. Cloud was a lifetime resident of Route 3, Bainbridge. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. W. C. Austin of Iron City; one sister, Mrs. Chloe Smith of Turbeville, South Carolina; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; six great, great grandchildren. Active pallbearers were: Curtis Earnest, Dockie Earnest, Roscoe Alday, W. D. Key, Catarino Veloz, and Eddie Braswell. Honorary pallbearers were: B. D. Murkison, O. D. Goodwin, Leroy Kirkland, Russell Day, Bill Alday and G. A. Branch.
