Mr. Joseph Mancice Cloud died at his home on the Spring Creek road Friday morning, March 28 following a stroke of paralysis which he suffered three weeks ago. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Pryer Young of Tallahassee, Fla., one son, Mr. Hoke Cloud of Brinson, Ga., and one brother Mr. Ed Cloud of this city. Funeral services were held at the residence Saturday, March 29 at 3:30 o'clock with the Reverend Williams of Atlanta officiating. The following gentlemen served at active pallbearers: Messer: Ralph Rich, E. Rich, Jimmy Griffin, Otis Ivey, Preston Pope, R. T. Humphrey, and W. B. McCollum. Honorary pallbearers included: Messer: D. P. Humphrey, E. I. Barber, Ollie Yates, John Griffin, Lonnie Williams, Bob Sawyer, M. E. O'Neal, Tom Clayton, R. C. Vickers, J. P. Boyd, Byron Heard, Perry Williams, R. O. Wheeler, J. C. Barber, J. W. Matthews, C. N. Nichols, and T. C. Funderburke. Interment was made in Cloud Cemetery. Players Funeral Home in charge.
