HARMON ARWOOD COOK Funeral services for Harmon Arwood Cook, 44, of Smyrna formerly of Bainbridge were conducted Thursday, October 18, [1962] at Dobbin Funeral Home in Smyrna. Rev. Frank Echols officiated and interment was in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. The deceased was a member of the Methodist Church and had been an employee of the Lockheed Aircraft Corp. for the past eleven years. During his employment with Lockheed he received a number of commendations from the company for time saving devices and for positive thinking that resulted in increased production. Having consistently found a better method for producing parts he also invented a tool for precision drilling. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sarah Addison Cook of Smyrna; two daughters Mrs. Arlene Jackson of Valdosta and Miss Cynthia Cook of Smyrna, one son, Harmon A. Cook, Jr. of Smyrna; his mother Mrs. Louray (Cook) Griffin of Bainbridge; two brothers, J. W. Cook, Jr. of Claxton and Julian Cook of Wilmington, California and one granddaughter, Tisha Nell Jackson of Valdosta.
