Cooper, one of the oldest and most highly respected citizens of his section, and a man widely known throughout the northern part of Decatur County. His remains were buried at Mt. Pleasant burial ground the following day, his funeral being conducted at the residence, and by Rev. Mr. Sullivan, he being a deacon in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Mr. Cooper leaves a wife, two sons and a daughter, besides other relatives to whom are extended the sympathies of their many friends.
