Mr. James A. Douglas passes away August 20


Graveside services were conducted on August 22 for Mr.
James Andrew Douglas in Mount Olive Cemetery with
Reverend Don Matthews officiating.


Mr. Douglas, 73, was a farmer who lived most of his life
in Decatur County and was a member of the Baptist church.
He passed away on August 20 in Bainbridge due to a brief
illness.


Survivors include: three step-daughters, Mrs. Mavis Gary,
Rockport, Indiana; Mrs. James Holmes, Bainbridge; Mrs.
Lola Hudson, Newton, Georgia; two step-sons, Horace
Spooner, Bainbridge; and Frank Spooner, Bainbridge;
nineteen step grandchildren; and one cousin, Mr. J. H.
Hornsby, Bainbridge.
