Douglas passes away August 20 Graveside services were conducted on August 22 for Mr. James Andrew Douglas in Mount Olive Cemetery with Reverend Don Matthews officiating. Mr. Douglas, 73, was a farmer who lived most of his life in Decatur County and was a member of the Baptist church. He passed away on August 20 in Bainbridge due to a brief illness. Survivors include: three step-daughters, Mrs. Mavis Gary, Rockport, Indiana; Mrs. James Holmes, Bainbridge; Mrs. Lola Hudson, Newton, Georgia; two step-sons, Horace Spooner, Bainbridge; and Frank Spooner, Bainbridge; nineteen step grandchildren; and one cousin, Mr. J. H. Hornsby, Bainbridge.
