Evans Dies Suddenly Funeral services for Jesse Howard Evans, 63, of 208 North Miller Avenue, Bainbridge were conducted Sunday, September 12, at 3:00 P. M. from Cox Funeral Chapel with Rev. Earl Henshaw officiating. Interment was in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens with Cox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Evans died suddenly on September 9. He was a retired foreman from Flint River Mills in Bainbridge, having worked for this company for 30 years. Born in Miller County on April 6, 1908, he had lived in Bainbridge for the past 34 years. Survivors include his wife Ruby Loyless Evans of Bainbridge; three daughters, Mrs. Birdie Lou Gebhart of Redwood California; Mrs. Oretha Ash of New York City; Mrs. LeAnna Walton of Albany; three sons: Floy Evans of Charleston, S. C., Othello Nathan Evans of Birmingham, Ala., and Raymond Delano Evans of West Plains, Missouri; four sisters: Mrs. Ernest Daniels of Tallahassee, Fla., Mrs. Clyde Barrington of Colquitt, Mrs. Lucile Loyless of Blakely and Mrs. Mary Bates of Colquitt; two brothers, Douglas Evans of Haines City, Fla., and Joseph Evans of White City, Fla. Active Pallbearers were Donis Godwin, Lewis Moore, Tom Blanchard, Jr., Charles Wright, C. J. Whittaker and honorary pallbearers were Drane Smith, Joel Hughes, Jim W.
