This file was contributed by: Janet Sumner GWS0675@peoplepc.com ==================================================================== Obituary of Logan Faircloth, Cairo Messenger, Nov 7 2001: February 23, 1917-October 25, 2001 Mr. Logan Henry Faircloth, 84, of 4046 Lake Douglas Drive, Climax, GA, passed away October 25, 2001 at Southern Pines Personal Care Home, Thomasville, Georgia. Mr. Faircloth was born in Decatur County, GA on Feb. 23, 1917 to the late Benjamin Harris Faircloth and Cecil Irene Ritter. He was married to Alma Taylor Faircloth who preceded him in death. Mr. Faircloth served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Pine Forest Baptist Church, Climax, GA. He was a lifetime resident of Decatur County and worked for the Department of Transportation. A private memorial service was held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wiregrass Hospice of Bainbridge, GA. Survivors include a son, James Logan Faircloth, Climax; a grandson, James D. Faircloth, Fort Walton Beach, FL, and a host of nieces and nephews. Heritage Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
