Shortly after shooting Bryan and Mrs. Fox, Fox attempted suicide by shooting himself in the forehead, and he died at ten o'clock Tuesday morning in the Riverside Hospital. Lieutenant R. E. The taxi driver Johnny Sanders, ran through the woods nearby. Fox returned to his own automobile, then came back and shot his wife a second time before driving away from the scene. Fox was found about an hour and half later, near Petroleum Carrier Corporation, lying on the seat of his car. He had shot himself through the upper right forehead with a .22 rifle, Lieutenant Watson said. Fox was the owner of a fleet of trucks under lease to Watkins Trucking Company out of Thomasville, and he was a driver for that company. His mother, Mrs. John Moore, lives in Wilson, Arkansas.
