Burrell, Rev. Joe Bridges and Mr. Carl Cooper officiating. Interment was in Oak City Cemetery with Cox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Kelly died on August 26 at the Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge after an illness of five months. A native of Montgomery, Alabama, he had lived most of his life in Bainbridge where he was foreman of the machine shop for Miller Hydro Company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bainbridge and the Baraca Class. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge No. 956 and Loyal Order of Moose. Survivors include his wife, Ellie Mills Kelly of Bainbridge; one daughter, Mrs. Gary Hollis of Bainbridge; two sons, Thomas Franklin Kelly, Jr. of Terrance, California and Richard Eugene McQuaig of Richmond, Virginia; six grandchildren; four sisters: Mrs. Henry B. Wilson of Hollywood, Fla., Mrs. Roy H. Daughtry of Silver Springs, Maryland and Mrs. Thomas T. Mills and Mrs. Coy E. Cook, both of Bainbridge. Active pallbearers were: James Stabler, Carroll Caldwell, Bernard Nussbaum, Bubba Searcy, A. M. Newton, Pete McCollum, Paul Ragan and J. C. Strickland. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Baraca Class of the First Baptist Church and coworkers of the night crew of Miller Hydro Co.
