Death Of Mr. John A. Herring
This prominent citizen of Climax and Decatur county died at the Georgia 
Sanitarium at Milledgeville, where he had gone for treatment.  His health had 
failed and he had gone there hoping for relief.  His remains reached Climax 
yesterday, and were buried at Pisgah Church cemetery amid a large concourse of 
relatives and friends.

Mr. Herring was 60 years of age and was born and raised in Decatur county.  His 
father was the late Judge H. W. Herring.  In his death his county and friends 
have sustained a distinct loss. -- Bainbridge Search Light
