Funeral services were held December 26, 1984, at 2 P. M. from Port City Church of God with the Reverend Johny Shepard, the Reverend E. L. Newton, the Reverend Virgil Perkins and the Reverend G. L. Herring officiating. Interment followed in Corinth Church Cemetery, Seminole County. Mr. Griffin was born in Decatur County. He was an electrician and in construction work. He was a veteran having served in the Air Force during World War II, and a member of Reynoldsville Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Rosa Lee Griffin of Donalsonville; one son, Frank W. Griffin, Jr. of Donalsonville; one brother, Charlie Griffin of Bartow, Fla; and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Newman of Auburndale, Fla., and Mrs. Lucille Reeves of Bartow, Fla. Active pallbearers were Winston Zorn, P. F. Swilley, Tim Inlow, Sidney Copeland, Larry Chapman and D. W. Jenkins. Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
