The following obituary appeared in the Post Searchlight Newspaper..........

Joe David Guyton
June 3, 1946 - June 19, 1993

Mr. Joe David Guyton, 47, of Decatur County died on June 19, 1993.

Mr. Guyton was born June 3, 1946.  He attended Fort Chapter and many other 
churches in the area.

He is survived by his mother, Lillie Mae Guyton of Los Angeles, Calif; three 
sisters,  Yolla Miller, Clara Addison, both of Los Angeles and Ethel Mae 
Guyton of Philadelphia;  four brothers  Nathan Guyton of Philadelphia, 
Curtis Guyton of New York, James Guyton of Quincy, Fla and Allie Buyton of  
Bainbridge and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Services were held on June 25 at Guyton Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. 
A. Noble, Sr. officiating.  Burial followed in St. Paul Cemetery.

Guyton Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangement.
