Harrison of Whigham, age 93, was born August 10, 1873. She is the mother of nine children, six girls and three boys. She has twenty-five grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Mrs. Harrison has an alert, active mind. Her memory goes back to happenings of ninety years. If anyone in the county is doubtful of dates of things that happened, they come to Mrs. Harrison for verification. She remembers the first automobile that ever came to Grady County. She also remembers when a sawmill was in operation where Twin-Lakes now is. Mrs. Harrison is still active and enjoys doing small chores. For pastime she reads, writes and watches T. V. She receives and sends mail everyday. She always looks forward to mail time because she knows one of her hundreds of friends have remembered to send her a card or letter. She is truly one of the world's sweetest mothers.
