She was 62. Services will be today at 3 p. m. at Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Lord officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Jackson, Jimmy Jackson, Carl Sexton, Clayton Bailey, Grover Knight, Roger Pollock, Billy Wood and Thurman Snipes. Mrs. Holmes was born on September 23, 1930, in Decatur County. She has lived in Seminole County for the past three years. Prior to this time she has made her home in Decatur County. She was a housewife and was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, James William Holmes of Brinson; three daughters, Recie Jones of Angleton, Texas, Judy McCall of Bainbridge and Janice Campbell of Fort Payne, Ala; three sons, Robert McIntyre of Brinson, Wade Shoemaker of Bainbridge, and Jimmy Lee Holmes of Climax; one brother, Frank Spooner of Bainbridge; one sister, Lola Hudson of Waycross; and eleven grandchildren.
