 Diane Jones, 54, of Bainbridge died December 6, 2011, at her residence.
 Born November 22, 1957, in Bainbridge to J.C. and Erodis Buckhalter King, she w
worked for many years as a supervisor in a local convenience store.
 Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Lee Jones of Bainbridge; sons, Lee J
Jones, Jr. and Rocky Smith, both of Bainbridge, William D. Jones, and wife, 
Georgia, of Donalsonville, Jamey L. Jones and wife, Christina of Brinson; 
daughters, Shelia Ellis and husband, Jeff, Lea Ann Jones, Dana Turner and 
husband, Jeff, all of Bainbridge; a very special family member, Aaron Foxworth 
Smith of Bainbridge; brothers, Willie Sampson and wife, Elizabeth of Perry, FL 
and Jessie King of Nashville; sisters, Joyce Thompson and Sara Welch and 
husband, Johnny all of Nashville, Kattie Connell, Virginia Morris and husband, 
Larry and Deloris Ritter and husband, Vernon all of Bainbridge; 13 
grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a 
sister, Linda Welch, a brother, Claude “Buddy” Cowartt and a grandson, John Cale
Caleb Turner.
 Funeral services were held Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. at Evangel Temple Assembly of God wit
with the Revs. Ken Davidson and Lloyd Markham officiating.
 Interment followed at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Edward Connell, Jason King, Jo
Johnny Welch, Jr., Randy Gilbert, David Smith, Aaron Smith, Matt King, John Si
Sizemore, Jr. serving as pallbearers.
 Ivey Funeral Home of Bainbridge was in charge of arrangements
