Mrs. Noah Cloud dies


Funeral services for Mrs. Noah Cloud, 66, of Route 3,
Bainbridge were conducted Saturday, August 5, at 4:00 P.
M. at the Mount Olive Baptist Church with Reverend Calvin
Culverson and reverend Hugh White officiating. Interment
was in Mount Olive Cemetery in Decatur County with Ivey
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.


Mrs. Cloud, a lifetime resident of Decatur County, died
on August 4 at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge after an
illness of two weeks.  She was a member of Mount Olive
Baptist Church in Decatur County.


Survivors include her husband, Mr. Noah Cloud of
Bainbridge; three sons: Willie Cloud, Benny Cloud, and
Bobby Cloud, all of Bainbridge; four daughters: Mrs.
James Jackson of Leesburg, Florida, Mrs. Charles
Valentine, Mrs. Grady Jackson and Mrs. Willard Wimberly,
all of Bainbridge; one brother, Ralph King of Nashville,
Tennessee; two daughters (sisters  I believe this was a
misprint and should be sisters instead of daughters -
BKM), Mrs. Etta Douglas and Mrs. Nellie Commerford, both
of Bainbridge; fifteen grandchildren and three great
grandchildren.


Active pallbearers were:  Charles Spooner, Tim Inlow, C.
E. Commerford, Jimmy Jackson, Randy Jackson and Stanley
Cloud.

** Florrie Alma King married Noah Solomon Cloud, Jr. on
23 May 1920 Decatur Co., GA Book H, Page 344.  She was
the daughter of James B. "Jim" King and Louera Cloud.
