The funeral will be at 11 a. m. Wednesday at Faith Baptist Church with burial at 1:30 p. m. at Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Miller County. The Revs. Paul Wilkes and Frank Hughes will officiate. A native of Bainbridge, Mrs. McLendon was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church. She had lived in Albany for the past 30 years. She was the widow of Joe Tom McLendon. Survivors include five sons, David McLendon of Iron City, Carol McLendon of Bainbridge, Melton McLendon of Vada, Hinton McLendon and Binton McLendon, both of Albany; three daughters, Dorothy Martin of Reynoldsville, Pat Hughes of Leesburg, and Brenda Wilson of Fort Gaines; a sister, Emma Cumbie of Bainbridge; and 26 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 7 - 9 p.m. today at Hall and Hall Funeral Home. The family will be at the residence of Tony and Becky Brown, 120 Ferrell Court, Leesburg, Ga. *** Rebecca Pauline "Teany" Loyless and Joe Tom McLendon were married 16 December 1930 Miller County, Georgia, Book G, Page 188. Rebecca Pauline "Teany" Loyless was the daughter of George Washington Loyless and Minnie Electra Bertie Cloud Barbree.
