Bluett McNair Tuesday At 3:30 Mr. Daniel Bluett McNair died at his home on West Street Sunday morning, February 1, after an illness of about ten months. Mr. McNair was born in Bainbridge and has spent his life here. For thirty-four years he was an employee of the Seaborn Airline Railway in their shops at Bainbridge. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and a member of the Bainbridge Chapter I. O. O. F. The deceased is survived by two children, Mrs. H. C. Castleberry and Daniel Lamar McNair, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Miss Bessie and Miss Susie McNair of Bainbridge; one brother John R. McNair; all of Bainbridge. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon February 2, from the chapel of E. W. Cox & Sons at 3:30 o'clock with the Reverend J. E. Ward officiating. Interment was made in Oak City Cemetery. Active pallbearers were George Macfie, A. L. Johnson, O. L. McQuaig, J. V. Wagoner, Jasper Godwin, W. R. Ratley, Harvey C. Stephens, Rufus Drinkwater. Honorary pallbearers were Ike Gray, M. E. O'Neal, T. J. Hornsby, Dr. W. L. Willis, Lee A. Parker, J. T. Atkins, Ben F. Lewis, J. C. Hooten, F. L. Nisbet, Arthur Joiner, A. E. White, John E. Drake, John R. Wilson, John A. Story, and Reed A. He was the son of Daniel J. G. McNair and Norisisa Adaline Patterson. He was married to Ina Grace Brockett on 02 June 1904 Decatur Co., GA Book D, Page 604.
