Whigham, 63, of Lake City, Fla., were conducted Friday, March 6, from MT. Olive Baptist Church with Dr. James T. Burrell officiating. Interment was in MT. Olive Cemetery with Cox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Whigham died suddenly on March 4 in Lake City. He was a former resident of Bainbridge and was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Bainbridge Masonic Lodge and the Brotherhood of Railway Workers, having retired from the Railway Express Agency. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillian C. Whigham of Lake City, Fla.; one son, Thomas M. Whigham of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.; one brother, A. M. Whigham of Ocala, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. M. C. Long of Atlanta. His parents were the late Augustus E. and Elizabeth Cox Whigham. Active pallbearers were: Wayne Cloud, Nolan Cloud, Edwin Cloud, Franklin Whigham, Roger Whigham and Kenneth Cloud.
