Mrs. D. M. Griffin

Mrs. D. M. Griffin, 84, of Bartow, Florida, died Saturday, February 25, in 
Bartow.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, February 28 from Ivey Funeral Home 
Chapel with Reverend Gene Reynolds officiating.  Interment followed in Mount 
Olive Cemetery of Decatur County.

Mrs. Griffin was a native of Decatur County but had lived in Bartow for the 
past 17 years.  She was a member of the Church of God.

She was survived by sons Frank Griffin, Donalsonville and Charlie Griffin, 
Bartow; daughters; Mrs. Lucille Reeves, Panama City, Florida; and Mrs. Margaret 
Newman, Auburndale, Florida; and daughter in law Mrs. A. E. Griffin, 
Bainbridge; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were David Hickman, James Griffin, Dickie McLaughlin, Willie 
Blocker, Phil Blocker and Don Matthews.

Ivey Funeral Home of Bainbridge was in charge of arrangements.

Sophia Cloud was born 10 April 1893 and died 25 February 1978, daughter of 
William Cloud and Mary Louisa Baston.  She married Daniel Monroe Griffing 05 
March 1912 in Decatur Co., GA Book E, Page 404.
