Services held Friday for Mrs. Annie Wilson

Funeral services were held Friday, June 7, for Mrs. Annie King Wilson, 71, of 
Route 1, Brinson.  Mrs. Wilson died Wednesday, June 5, at Memorial Hospital 
after a lengthy illness.

She was the wife of Mr. Lester Eugene Wilson, and in addition to her husband, 
is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Tipton, Bristol, Fla.; Mrs. Emma 
Mitchell, Dothan, Ala.; Mrs. Norene Harrison, Whigham, Ga.; Mrs. Louise 
Conyers, Albany, Ga.; and Mrs. Janet Donalson, Pensacola, Fla.; and 2 brothers, 
Mr. Tom King, and Mr. Dewitt King Bainbridge, Ga.

She was a lifetime resident of Decatur County and a member of Bethany Baptist 
Church.

Services were held at 4:00 P. M. Friday from the church and interment followed 
in Bethany Cemetery.  Dr. Charles Bishop, Rev. Howard C. Tillery and Rev. E. R. 
Cloud officiated.  Her nephews acted as pallbearers.

Sallie Annis King was born 10 August 1902 and died 05 June 1974, daughter of 
Hugh Saxton King and Elizabeth E. "Lizzie" Cloud.  She married Lester Wilson 14 
December 1926 in Decatur Co., GA Book J, Page 137.
