Funeral services were held at three o'clock Wednesday afternoon from Bethel Church, conducted by Rev. A. B. Thomas, Rev. H. H. Shell and Rev. J. E. Ward. Interment was in Bethel Cemetery. The son of the late Elijah Rich and Hattie Pierce Rich, he was a member of a large and prominent family of this county. Among his several interests, he was for a number of years an outstanding farmer of this section, having recently retired. Widely known throughout this vicinity, he possesses hundred of friends who were grieved to learn of his death. Mr. Rich is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nannie Claires Rich, and nine children. His daughters are Mrs. E. J. Rapasky of Linden, N. J., Mrs. W. E. Dugan, Reading, Pa., and Mrs. E. E. Kistner, of Elizabeth, N. J. His sons are P. T. Rich, of Glen Cove Springs, Fla., R. L. Rich, C. Ross Rich and J. B. Rich, all of Bainbridge; E. G. Rich, of Orlando, Fla., and J. C. Rich, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Other survivors include his brothers, P. D. Rich, A. J. Rich and T. E. Rich, of Bainbridge, and two sisters, Mrs. J. T. Powell, of Brinson, and Mrs. W. J. Bush, of Colquitt, Ga. Serving as active pallbearers were Messrs. W. G. Powell, Alee Rich, Hoke Bush, J. T. Powell, P. D. Rich, Jr., T. E. Rich, Curtis Powell and Lamar Powell. Honorary pallbearers included Messrs. C. C. Bell, F. S. Jones, E. J. Wilson, A. B. Griffin, Jeff Powell, Dr. L. W. Willis, John E. Drake, E. D. Cato, A. B. Conger, J. W. Callahan, Ezra Cato, Roland Bower, J. W. Wilson, J. D. Gray, Max Kwilesky, J. G. Kwileski, R. Y. Howell, J. U. Grimsley, Dr. Gordon Chason, J. A. Mock, H. G.
