The funeral service was held at Mount Pleasant Church at 3:30 o'clock Monday afternoon with the Revs. Leslie Darley and Charles Bishop officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Ellis Cumbie, William Cumbie, Durwood Cumbie, Neal Cumbie, Leonard Newsome, and Kadrick. The deceased was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church. He spent most of his life at Vada where he was engaged in farming. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. E. A. Cumbie, Bainbridge; two brothers, W. H. Cumbie, Climax, A. J.
