G. McLellan for Miss Etta Missouri Moore who died in a local hospital on Tuesday morning. Born in Decatur County on August 12, 1872, she was a daughter of the late Mrs. Callie Sutlive Moore and Mr. Green Berry Moore. She joined the First Baptist Church here in 1887 and continued her membership here until her death. For more that twenty-five years she taught a Sunday School class, giving it up because of ill health. In recent years she has made her home with her sister, Mrs. Joe Renfroe, in Tallahassee and later in Havana. Two years ago she returned to Bainbridge to live with her sisters, Mrs. D. G. McLellan. Miss Etta was a fine Christian woman with a lovable personality and she always enjoyed a wide circle of friends who are grieved to learn of her death. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. D. G. McLellan of Bainbridge and Mrs. Joe Renfroe of Tallahassee. She is also survived by a niece, Mrs. Russell Douglas of St. Petersburg, whom she reared and a number of other nieces and nephews. The Reverend Lewis H. Wright and the Reverend H. H. Shell officiated at the funeral service and pallbearers were Emmett O. Horne, E. J. Willis, Milton Woodbury, Raleigh Rollins, H. B. Wynn, Marvin Golucke, R. E. Rowan, J. R. Deese, and A. P. Phillips. Interment was made in Oak City Cemetery with E. W. Cox and Sons in charge.
