Bainbridge Post Search Light, January 5, 1950
Mrs. Claudia Lane, a former resident of Bainbridge, died in Miami, Florida on 
December 27, after a lengthy illness.  She is survived by one son, Guy Lane, 
and one grandson, Guy Lane, Jr., both of Miami.  Also surviving are three 
sisters, Mrs. J. B. L. Barber of Bainbridge, Mrs. W. C. Sims of Brinson, and 
Mrs. P. D. Rich, Sr., of Panama City, Florida.  She is also survived by several 
nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, December 30 at three o'clock from 
Bethel Church with the Reverend B. M. Newsome officiating.

Active pallbearers were W. G. Powell, Jr., W. C. Sims, Jr., P. D. Rich, Jr., 
George Tyson, Lester Williams, and Lloyd Rich, Jr.

Interment was made in Bethel Cemetery with E. W. Cox and Sons in charge.
