He is survived by one daughter Mrs. Debbs Pollock of Camilla; six sons, R. E. of Pelham; M. M. of Augusta, Ga.; W. O. of Lakeland, Fla.; L. O. of Albany; E. E. of Norman Park, Ga. and T. J. Blewett of Hartsfield, Ga. Funeral services were held at the Open Pond Church Tuesday morning, December 23 at 10:00 o'clock with the Rev. J. L. Hand of Climax officiating. Mr. Blewett was a Baptist minister of the Gospel. He helped to organize quite a few of the local churches and also served as a pastor for quite a few years, even until his health failed him. He was loved by everyone in his community and held quite a personal character among his friends. He has left a wonderful record to his children and also the younger people in which would be a good guiding star through life. Friends of the deceased acted as pallbearers.
