Mr. Eakin was 70 years old at the time of his death. Rev. L. Z. Farmer officiated at the services, with Rev. Stephen Milhfeld assisting. Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Z. W. Doughtry, M. C. Johnson, J. D. Yawn, B. O. Harrison, James Kelly and J. W. Kelly. Mr. Eakin is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Faircloth of Whigham; four sons, Lloyd, William, and Earl, all of Climax, and Clem Eakin, of Bainbridge; a sister, Mrs. Sue Lovett, of Chow Chilla, Calif., and two brothers, George Eakin of Wetunka, Okla., and Wiley Eakin, of Waurika, Okla.
