Post Searchlight, August 3, 1967
The funeral for Mr. Maenette Gee, 54, of Climax was conducted Sunday, July 30, 
at 5 p.m. at the Climax Methodist Church with Rev. C. S. Easom officiating.  
Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Climax with Ivey Funeral Home in 
charge of arrangements.

Mr. Gee died on Saturday, July 29, at his residence in Climax.  He was a member 
of the Climax Methodist Church and was a native of Decatur County. 

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Lula C. Gee of Climax; one brother, J. L. 
Gee of Attapulgus; three sisters, Mrs. T. B. Hardy and Mrs. Coreen Gee Hester, 
both of Climax and Mrs. H. A. Miller of Brinson; and several nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers were Red Allen, W. A. Byrd, Jack Trulock, Bubba Hester, 
Butch Moseley, Carroll Hurst, Thomas Cox and Clifford Wells.
