In Self-Defense

Bainbridge, Ga., April 10 – 

Sixteen miles northeast of Bainbridge R.B. Singletary killed Charles Bell with 
a load from a double-barreled gun on Wednesday.

An inquest was held, and a verdict of self-defense rendered.  The cause was a 
previous quarrel.  The deceased was advancing with a pistol in his hand when 
killed.
