Mr. George W. Dean Passes Away

     Funeral services were held for Mr. George W. Dean Monday, June 1st, at 

3:00 P. M. at Prosperity Church with Rev. Josh Davis officiating.  Interment 

followed at Prosperity.

     Mr. Dean passed away at a local hospital last Sunday, May 31st, at 6:00 

o'clock a.m. after a short illness.  He was 73 years of age at the time of his 

death.

     He is survived by the following:  his wife, Mrs. George W. Dean; four 

daughters, Mrs. Julia Harrell, of Lakeland, Fla.; Mrs. Alma Smith of Camilla, 

Ga.; Mrs. George Singleton of Camilla, Ga.; and Miss Mae Dean; three sons, 

James L. Dean of Mr. Dora, Fla., W. T. Dean, of Brooksville, Fla., and Marvin 

Dean.

     Active pallbearers were: Messrs. Jim Thompson, Jessie Dean, Charlie Dean, 

J. T. Smith, Lawrence Dean, and Charlie Faircloth.

     Player Funeral Home in charge.
