S. Mock, on Saturday, March 28th. Mrs. Dean was 95 years of age at the time of her death which came after an illness that lasted for several months before her death. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. R. S. Mock of this city, four sons, William Dean of Red Level, Ala.; Thomas Dean of Donalsonville, Charlie and John Dean both of Miller County, Georgia. Mrs. Dean was one of the oldest citizens of the county and for the past several years she had made her home with Mrs. Mock who is her only daughter. Mrs. Dean was an ardent church worker being a member of the Free Will Baptist church since early life and left many friends who will mourn her passing. The services were held at Bethany church at 11 o'clock with Rev. N. Paul Arline officiating. Interment followed in the Bethany Cemetery. Grandsons and friends acted as pallbearers, among them being: C. Mock, T. Mock, R. S. Mock, Jr., William Dean, O. C. Ivey, and J. W. Thursby. E. W. Cox Funeral Home in charge.
