Mr. Dollar lived in the Mt. Pleasant Communtiy. The deceased was a well known farmer of Decatur County and was very well known in the Mt. Pleasant Community where he resided the major part of his life. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church at Prosperity for the past eight years, serving the church in that length of time as Clerk of the Church. Mr. Dollar was an honest, upright, and beloved gentleman to all he came in contact with, and an asset to the community in which he lived. For several years he has cared for two orphan children, Archer and Louis Chester, and he has been a father to them in every respect, always willing and ready to do for them as he was for his own family. He was 40 years of age at the time of his death. Mr. Dollar is survived by his wife, his father, Mr. George Dollar; three daughters, Euretha, Bertie Lee, Betty Jean, two sons, J. W. and Clifton Dollar; three brothers, Emory, Joe, and Hardy Dollar all of this city. He is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. N. S. Salter, of Vada, Mrs. C. B. Boutwell, of Lakeland, and Mrs. T. J. Lanier, of Sneads, Fla. Funeral services were held for the deceased on Thursday morning March 12, the services being conducted by Elder A. L.
