Pleasant Church at 3:30 P. M. with Rev. J. L. Hand, of Climax officiating, assisted by Rev. W. W. Sullivan, of Bainbridge, and Rev. W. S. Boynton, of Pelham, Ga. Interment followed at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Active pallbearers were: Messrs. Tom Lodge, Crawford, Edward Burnum, Elton Bostwick, Kalzo Godwin, and Robert Lodge. Mrs. Burnum passed away at her home in Vada, Ga., after a short illness. She was 76 years of age at the time of her death. She was survived by the following: Daughters, Mrs. Sim Lodge, Mrs. A. J. Dollar, Bainbridge, Ga., Mrs. T. L. Barrett, Whigham, Mrs. D. J. Darley, Mrs. C. C. Bostick, Mrs. G. G. Godwin, of Camilla; Sons: Emory Burnum, Dawson, Ga.; Ernest Burnum, Tifton, Ga.; Tom Burnum, Whigham, Ga.; B. B. Burnum, Climax, Ga.; W. O. Burnum, Camilla, Ga. Mrs. Burnum is survived by fifty-one grand children and twenty- eight great grand children. Player Funeral Home in charge.
