Howard Howell Dies

     The Mars Hill Community was saddened early Saturday night by the death of 

Howard Harrell, who died after a short illness.

     Howard, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Harrell, was born September 1, 

1920, being only fifteen years of age at the time of his death.  He was 

enrolled in the seventh grade at Climax Consolidated School where he had made 

many friends who will greatly miss him.

     Funeral services were held at Mars Hill Cemetery Sunday afternoon, 

conducted by Rev. T. W. Salter of Bainbridge.

     Besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Harrell; his grandparents, Mr. 

and Mrs. Eli Harrell, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Prevatte; he leaves to mourn his death 

three sisters, Myrtice, Ruth, and Virginia; and two brothers, Crawford and 

Kenneth.
