W. Rich died at a local hospital last Monday, June 1. He is survived by his father and mother; four half-brothers, Allen Rich, Faceville; Gus Rich of Bainbridge; U. Z. Rich of Quincy, Murray Donahue of Quincy, Fla.; four half-sisters, Miss Ansel Wilder of Columbus; Mrs. J. R. Lane of Edison; Mrs. R. C. Marchant of Panama City, Fla.; Mrs. T. V. Smith of Quincy, Fla.; also three brothers, Malichai, John and Bill Rich; two sisters, Mabel and Linda Rich, all of the Open Pond community. Funeral services were held on Tuesday June 2 at Bethel Church with Rev. J. L. Hand officiating, assisted by Rev. Hodges. Interment was in Bethel Cemetery. J. J. Edge Funeral Home in charge.
