Bainbridge Post-Search Light, Thursday, February 25, 1937

Last Rites Held For Mrs. Cassie P. Smith

     Funeral services were held Sunday morning, February 21 at 11 o'clock for 

Mrs. Cassie Pollock Smith of Vada.  Mrs. Smith passed away at the home of her 

parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Pollock, Friday afternoon, February 19th after an 

illness of several weeks.

     Survivors are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Pollock, three sisters, 

Misses Varnell, Jarleane and Candis Pollock of Vada; two brothers, Mr. Cleo 

Pollock and Josh Pollock of Vada.

     Funeral services were held at the Mt. Pleasant Church with Rev. J. L. Hand 

officiating.  Interment followed at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

     The following gentlemen served as active pallbearers:  Messrs. Robert 

Bluett, Paul Williams, Bill Glover, Johnie Boutwell, Jimmie Pollock, and Truman 

Pollock.

     E. W. Cox Funeral Home in charge.
