Funeral Rites Held For Mrs. Perry Mills



Funeral services for Mrs. Perry Mills, 66, of Brinson were held at the Highway 

Freewill Baptist Church at Brinson Saturday afternoon, December 7th at 3 p. m.  

The Rev. J. C. Watson and the Rev. L. D. Scott officiated.



Mrs. Mills, a lifetime resident of Decatur County, died Thursday, December 5th 

following an illness of several weeks.  She was a member of the Highway 

Freewill Baptist Church.



Survivors include her husband, Perry Mills; 2 sons, G. O. Mills of Brinson, and 

Earl Mills of West Bainbridge; 6 grandchildren and 1 great - grandchild.



Active pallbearers were H. L. W. Yeates, C. D. Yeates, Sylvester Yeates, W. R. 

Yeates, R. H. Yeates, and W. N. Yeates.



Honorary pallbearers included Rufus Dukes, Horace King, Ellis Durham, Dewey 

Cross, Roy Barber, Calvin Miller, Kenneth Hodges, Charlie D. Cross, Zack 

Bridges, Linon Brogdon, Ellis Wishan, Burson Bridges, Jackson Durham, James 

King, C. L. Earnest, and E. C. Durham.



Interment was in the Brinson Cemetery with Ivey Funeral Home in charge of the 

arrangements.

Electer May Cloud was a daughter of Mansico C. Cloud and Ann Ellis.  She was 

married 25 December 1911 Decatur County, GA Book E, Page 387 to Perry Mills.
