Services were held March 4 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p. m. with the Rev. Jessie Holley officiating. Interment was held at Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville. Mrs. Emanuel was born March 25, 1920 in Decatur County. She was homemaker and member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Merritt Emanuel. Survivors are three daughters, Grace Davidson of Warm Springs and Mary Reynolds and Marie Emanuel, both of Bainbridge; one brother, Carrie Cox of Bainbridge; two sisters, Getha Granthum and Lois Yawn, both of Bainbridge; six grandchildren and five great - grandchildren.
