Granthum Mr. Thomas C. Granthum, 73, formerly of Decatur County, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 1989, at Tallahassee Memorial Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Services were held Jan. 26 at 1 p. m. at the Bevis Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Tallahassee. Interment was held at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Bainbridge. Mr. Granthum was a native of Decatur County and had lived in Tallahassee for the last 24 years. He was a carpenter and a member of the Aenon Baptist Church in Tallahassee. Survivors are his wife, Edna O. Granthum of Tallahassee; six children, Bobby Granthum of Bainbridge, Phylis Glisson of San Antonio, Texas, Marti Beard of Atlanta, Barbara Finuff of Quincy, Fla., Dottye Muhs of Anchorage, Alaska and Tommy Granthum of Brinson; two sisters, Alma Humphrey of Tallahassee and Theo Kennedy of Jacksonville, Florida; one brother, John Granthum of Tallahassee; one step-daughter, Jeanette Walden of Tallahassee; nine grandchildren; two step- grandchildren and one step-grandson.
