Spooner dies March 21 in Bainbridge Funeral services for Mr. Love Monroe Spooner, 72, of Bainbridge, were conducted Sunday, March 21, at 1 p. m. from Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donald Franks officiating, assisted by Reverend Everette Foskey. Mr. Spooner died on march 19 in Memorial Hospital. He was born in Decatur County on April 2, 1898 and was a member of the Cool Springs Church. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include two sons, Horace Spooner and Frank Spooner, both of Bainbridge; three daughters: Mrs. Mavis Gary of Rock Point, Indiana, Mrs. Behre Holes of Bainbridge and Mrs. Lola Hudson of Newton; two sisters, Mrs. Emmie Payton of Quincy, Florida and Mrs. Ada Young of Bainbridge; twenty grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Active pallbearers were: John Lewis Thomas, Ed Strickland, Mall Decker, James Sanders, Bruce Hill, and Jimmy Brooks.
